Superior for live use

Hi everybody
Need some suggestions on how yo use Superior / Toontcak Solo for live application. Some information; I’m using triggers /drums from Boom Theory, cymbal and Hi-Hat from Smartrigger, the Hi-Hat is mounted on an ordinary stand controlled by the Visu Lite controller from Pintech. MY module is an Roland TD-20W (Expanded). The Roland is set to Local=Off so all soundprocessing do happen in the software. Everything are going out via an RME Fireface800 soundcard to my FOH mixer.
 
First question, do anybody have any experince with adjusting the Smarttrigger HiHat and the VisuLite controller in Superior ?
Second question
; since I will have our soundeng. to adjust all the drum sound I will have a sound as dry as possible comming out from Superior. Does this means that I have to turn off all the ariculations on everything? And are there someboudy that have a “guide” on how to set-up Superior for maximum live performance?

for your engineer:

you can use all the articulations but you can turn of (in drummer mixer) the several ambience mics-wich will result in much dryer drumsound (and less ram usage although in avatar i would send em to a separate out coz it sounds much better than a reverb-your engineer coul use i as a “drum verb return”)
too i would sent kick/ sn / hat e.t.c. on separate outputs so your engineer will get the sound on dedicated channels all this has to be done in dfhs s mixer (routing e.t.c.)
as far as smartrigger i dont know sorry…
too you`ll have to figure if you want the toms bleeding into the overheads (wich i believe sounds more natural) and decide ho much bleed you want (snares reacting to the bd e.t.c.)
i suggest a workshop with your soundman….
ps try as well “all channels mono” it might make life easyer for the routing
