    First thing to check is to make sure that you are using the Logic Drum Designer MIDI map with Logic’s Drummer. if you’re still. It getting what you want, you can customize the MIDI map. It may also be worth noting, Logic uses MIDI CC1 for the hi-hat.

    Pardon my jumping into this thread but I am a bit confused and it is a bit related to this thread.

    I have a MIDI groove that when played in SD3 Standalone it plays a Hi-Hat Tip and Edge pattern. When I drag the groove into Cubase, the Tip and Edge translates to a F#1 open hi-hat note. Based on Jord’s reply, sounds like my MIDI config is not set properly.

    I did a little more investigation and saw that the SD3 VST was preset to Roland TD10 and this seemed to cause issues with the HiHat control when I imported a midi loop. I reset to default and it is working well now.
