I’m currently on tour with my band and am using an e-drum kit to trigger Superior Drummer via midi. I then output each instrument on a separate channel of my Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 (channel 1 – kick, channel 2 – snare, and so on…). Everything sounds great but every few minutes or so the kick randomly doesn’t trigger. It is definitely triggering from my e-drums as I monitor the drum module while I’m playing, but I can’t work out why Superior Drummer is just dropping the occasional kick.
I run it on a laptop with i5-2540 cpu, 6GB ram and Windows 7. I have nothing else running at the time except the Presonus Universal Control, so the laptop should definitely cope. Any suggestions?
