Any news on AAX silicon native support?
I’d be glad to test if it’s in the works, I’ve been an Avid beta tester for 20 years, currently testing several VIs on PT silicon beta.
Thanks

I too just got the public beta of Pro Tools 2022.22 when it dropped on Dec. 27. I check Toontrack Product Manager every day. It works fine running Pro Tools in Rosetta of course. I actually run it in Pro Tools running native by using Blue Cat Audio PatchWork and then opening the AU version of SD3 inside it, using it as a shell. But it would be nice to get the AAX native version and nice if maybe someone at Toontrack could comment with a potential timeframe. Thanks!
+1. It would be really nice if Toontrack could give some sort of timeframe for when Silicon Native AAX versions will be out. A timeframe, even if it’s 2-3 months from now, is better than not knowing anything. It would make project planning a bit easier.

+1. It would be good to know at least the general plans for native Apple Silicon AAX support in ProTools. We are waiting for information.
Hi guys,
we are working on support for AAX Apple silicon versions of our plugins and we expect to release them within a month or two.

Thanked by: Kerry Smith and Scott EshlemanYaaay! Thank you. I just did the update and SD3 and EZBass opens find in Pro Tools Apple Silicon. Again, thank you. One question, was EZKeys updated too?
Is there any advantage to updating SD3 if we are not using a Silicon Native DAW?
thanks
