Strange Things Happening in Grid Editor since 3.2.4

Recently updated SD3 to 3.2.4 and while working in the grid editor, strange things are now happening.  I cut up the midi track into segments (for region/song part) and they will all join back together on their own.  I am pretty sure I did not select all the segments and hit J!  Next, hi-hat edge trigger is not following the CC4 data.  It’s just giving me a completely open hi-hat ...
