EZX installer needs to be updated?

I just bought and downloaded a package of 3 expansions, but two of them won’t install on Big Sur…

The messages from MacOs:

EZX Americana: “Installer” needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS.

EZX Action: Config File Error. Could not read installer config file.

What’s up…?

I can’t get these two EZX’s without installing the Product Manager? From what I read, installing the Product Manager was a choice…I’ve done the previous ones manually from my account.

The Product Manager accesses the latest installers. It is why we recommend Product Manager when the download installers don’t work.

Ok…so I can download newer installers through the Product Manager and bring these installers on a stick to a machine without internet? If so, that’s ok, but I don’t quite understand why these newer installers aren’t available from my account.

Yes. You can download them through PM on one computer and put them on a stick to install on a computer without internet.

It’s the same files that are downloaded through Product Manager.

Still, the “config file” error of EZX Action was gone this time. Might have been something else to blame.

However, the Americana EZX’s installer is 32 bit intel from 2014…There’s no way Big Sur will accept that. How can this be solved?

I used to, once I a while, install from the downloaded file. However now I always install from the Product Manager “Install” button as I believe it runs its own installer, rather than the one downloaded and imbedded in the EZX, SDX or other software.
