So is it worth using EZDrummer with sampling rate over 44.1?

Your projects with vocals .gtrs and other microphonic recordings will sound better at higher rates but EZ wont actually improve its sound . The original recordings are 44.1 16 bit even if your running at 88 or 96.
I would stick with it though if your already doing it.
Many people cant hear much difference in isolated listening tests and there’s arguments about product being of cd or mp3 quality in the end plus the
reality of storage of large data with projects at Higher Def ,for me overall i hear Hi Def or Lower Def as a cumulative effect within a multitrack environment.

Does it only apply to guitars/vocals or any sound source? I am using mostly synth sounds via MIDI, shouldn’t they also benefit from higher sampling rates?

Since DAW usually requires using the same rate for all tracks, this is a principle choice I am trying to make. Thanks for the input.

As I understand it, it’s never a good thing to convert sample rates if it can be avoided.
So I would think using EZdrummer at 44.1kHz will produce the optimum sound from it.

As far as I’m concerned 44.1Khz is plenty good enough unless you’re doing sound for video or movies.
