Hi
I can try the SD3 but about the stock presets
are they enough vs the SDX ?
In the demos, it seems SD3 can not be good by itself so it seems some SDX must be bough to have
great sounds for a lot of musics like pop funk disco rock metal heavy meta hard rock ?

As I don’t want to presume your foreknowledge of SuperiorDrummer3 or the SDX product line,
I’ll simply note that SD3 & the SDX expansions are “RAW, UNPRODUCED DRUM SAMPLES” for maximum flexibility,
tweak-ability, sound design, and powerful music production.
The presets are ‘shortcuts’ created by Toontrack & professional creatives to help to sculpt mix-ready drum tracks.
you have not understood at all my message so it does not add any good answer to me
it was not talking about the raw sounds i know, i was talking about the sounds for some musics like hard rock, metal SD3 vs SDX
when i listen to the demos, all sounded better with some SDX than with superior drummer itself so i doubt SD3 will be enough
