SD3 Change “User Midi” Default Location to External Drive

There’s just no option to change the default location of where “User Midi” files are read from.  On Mac, your files have to be at HD/Users/account/Music/EZdrummer/User Midi/ to show up in the groove player.  Would like an option to choose where “User Midi” is read from.  I know I can do a symbolic link, but I would greatly appreciate if I could just change the default “User Midi” location in Superior Drummer 3.
