Hi guys,
great plugins so far, BUT I would also REALLY like to use my own samples – without the kit sounding like a machinegun!
For my own samples I have recorded 4 hits on everything in 4 velocity levels, but all I see in Superior Drummer 3 is the option to add ONE sample at a time – with no variation?
I there is a way, please tell me …
I tried the checkboxes “Randomise Hits” and “Use alternate hits” but those are only for Superior Drummer samples I guess.
The problem of the monotone sound is even described in the tooltip of Use-alternate-hits:
“ON: use random hits from the sample pool. OFF: Only one sound for machine gun effect”

Is there really no way to build such a sample pool for the personal samples?
And if not – will this come in the next update or at some time in 2018? I thought this would be quite a basic feature …

I would also LOVE this feature.

The sounds in SD3 are great, but I would love to create my own kits in the studio.

Honestly could be a great marketplace for SD3.

actually ChatGPT tricked me into buying SD3 because it said it had this feature 😀

I don’t regret it, I love the Metal Machine sounds but I would appreciate the possibility to create my own kit.

Or just make a Tama Artstar II Kit, Toontrack, with Sabian AAX Metal Hats! 🙂

I’ve been searching on the internet to see if there is a workaround in SD3, but it seems there isn’t.
