Sometimes Tom1 has Snare bleed in the sample because thats the way a real kit is, and realism is the name of the game.
Having said that, some seem to have more than others and it can be annoying enough to want to get rid of .
Depending on what you are using the bleeds are controllable but eZdX will be set. You did not mention what kit or plug but I’m assuming ezd2.
You can swap out the tom

    Hi thanks for the reply,

Sorry I forgot to mention this is for SD3 so I’m assuming its not part of the recording and should be able to get rid of it but I could be wrong.

    Hi,

could you please specify which library and preset you are using?

This would be what comes with SD3 only using SD3 “Roomy” presets. I am using the Premier Toms and Kick to build a custom kit.

    Thanks !

And specific preset? There are many roomy presets.

The only thing I hear in the tom1 channel when soloed that is snare related it a tiny bit of the snare rattle that is expected.

So that is part of the Tom 1 sample and not able to remove it ?

    Thanks

If what you are hearing in the Tom1 channel is snare buzz, then yes. Due the proximity of Tom 1 and the snare when recording a real drum kit, drum kit pieces sympathetically resonate.

Same thing happens with the kick and toms
When you get back to the music and the drums/toms are playing along in context and a full mix, if you can still hear it, this will simply sound natural if not cool.

On the Roomy Premier Tape preset.
Having a test of this the O/Head mic is quite high on the room preset
i found a fair bit of snare rattle on that tom in that mic so that could be lowered but also on the “snare bottom” mic you do have bleed in properties on the right is that tom fader and that nearly takes it all out !!
