Recording Alesis DM5

Hi Guys,
I would like to expand my drum midi collection – so I have asked a drummer to come over who has an E-Kit –
an Alesis dm5 . I want to record the midi out from the dm5 – to be used in SD2 with all my other toontrack midi ;
is there anything I need to know about the mapping from the DM5 ?

Does anyone know what I might be getting myself into here ?

Hi,

use the ‘E-drums’ MIDI Preset on the Mapping page as a starting point, pretty much everything should already be set up, the rest is easy to tweak.
