Simple example of my problem:
It seems Microphone Assignment is not treating each x-drum mic individually, but as part of a kit. Is this supposed to happen?
I mean if I, for example, put DFH’s Cymbal 2 x-drum OH mic into the Reverb bus it will do the same to all the other DFH x-drums.
Meaning I cannot pan cymbals individually, but all cymbals from the EZX.
Actual example:
I got SD2, loaded the Metal Machine EZX into it.
Not the biggest fan of the Zildjan cymbals, so I figure I’ll turn them off and load in some Sabian x-drums from the Avatar SDX and DFH EZX.
So far so good, I’m arranging the x-drums as I want them, HOWEVER an Avatar cymbal and a DFH are not panned correctly.
They’re both on the left side of the kit, but coming out of the right channel.
So I figure: “I’ll put the cymbals’ OH and AMB mics into their own mixer buses via microphone assignment, and I’ll just pan them left in their special bus!”
Which I did, and it worked, buuuuUUUUUUUT…
It didn’t just put the OH and AMB mics of those cymbals into a new mixer ,but all of the cymbals :C
Whatever I do DFH mics happens to all the other DFH x-drums, same for Avatar.
Is there any way to pan cymbals individually?
Help me Toony-Track Forumi, you’re my only hope!
(watched a ton of videos and read threads, even read the manual, dunno what to do)
