Randomize chord question

So I have 4 chords that sound great together, then I add for more chords but on those chords I use randomize chords.
my question is this, is the randomize chords looking at the existing 4 chords I have to randomize against or it’s just randomizing chords with no regard to existing chords.
the question also applies if I put new chords in between existing chords as well, example. I have 2 existing chords, add 4 chords but have 2 existing chords at the end, then I randomize the 4 new chords in the middle, again, does the randomize chords take into consideration the to outside chords when picking the chords when I click on randomize.

just a curious question.

The Randomize Chords function is looking at the current song Key, and chords in the top of the Circle of Fifths (chord selector) is more probable to be selected 🙂 It doesn’t take into consideration chords that are already placed on the song track.
This is, however, something we have thought of and we have added it to our feature request list – since it would be useful to analyse surrounding chords!
