Im sure most that have a rack, got it with there Vdrum purchase.. If I were to buy a new rack I would go with the Gibralter rack.. They are very sturdy and look and function great.. I still have my Roland rack but when I upgrade it will be Gibralter.. I like the pdp one aswell..

Hi,
(edit)
I believe Gibralter racks will take roland clamps and vice versa, so if you have any vdrum bits they should still be useful.
Thomann (www.thomann.de) sell all the different bits of v-drum rack hardware. They also sell the vdrum racks without the rest of the kit. They’re probably the cheapest and (imho) best in Europe (no I don’t work for them, I just bought most of my kit there 🙂
Obviously they are European – ymmv shipping elsewhere.
Cheers,

I replaced some parts on my V-drum rack because the original got too small.
I used 1 1/4″ electrical conduit that I painted flat black. It blends right in.
The conduit is the same size as the Roland V-drum racks.
Hope this helps.
thanks, that was exactly what i was looking for.
since then however i remembered an old mate of mine had a rack and i knew he wasn’t drumming anymore so i managed to get his toms and his Dixon rack off him for £50.
pretty much finished now. pics up soon.
