Hello Toontrack Team,
I would like to suggest the creation of a full Reggae SDX expansion for Superior Drummer.
The current Reggae EZX has a great concept and a very good sound, but I would love to see a deeper Superior Drummer version with the full SDX treatment: more microphone control, different recording rooms, detailed articulations, bleed control, raw mix options, more grooves, percussion, dub-style drum pieces, roots reggae, ska, rocksteady, lovers rock, dancehall-inspired acoustic kits, and more flexibility for professional production.
I would also like to suggest the creation of a Reggae Mix Pack for Superior Drummer, similar to the reggae mix pack you have already developed, but focused on taking full advantage of the depth of the Superior Drummer engine. It would be extremely useful to have professional mix presets for different reggae styles such as roots reggae, dub, ska, rocksteady, lovers rock, and modern reggae, with production-ready sounds while still keeping the flexibility of Superior Drummer.
Reggae is a very important genre with a deep drum tradition, and I believe a dedicated Reggae SDX, together with a Reggae Mix Pack for Superior Drummer, would be extremely useful for producers, arrangers, drummers, and engineers who work with organic reggae, Caribbean music, Latin music, fusion, and modern productions.
Many of us truly need this type of product with great anticipation, especially those of us working in Caribbean music, reggae, Latin music, and modern organic productions. It would be a very valuable tool to take these genres to a deeper level inside Superior Drummer.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I would definitely be interested in purchasing a Reggae SDX and a Reggae Mix Pack for Superior Drummer if Toontrack ever develops them.
