Protools 8 – Roland TD4S – Mac X OS – Superior Drummer 2.1 Latency problem

Hello there,

I’m new on this Superior drummer and e-drums.

I’m wondering if you could help me to resolve a little problem I have with latency.

I have a Dual 1.8Ghz PowerPC G5 with 4GB Ram, Mac X OS Leopard, Protools 8, Digi 002, Roland TD4S and Superior Drummer 2.1.

It sounds incredible, but I notice a latency while playing/recording on the sound coming out of the speakers and/or earphones.

I’m wondering if you can tell me, where can I go either on Protools or superior drummer (or even Mac X OS) and change the setup to fix that latency problem.

I really appreciate all your help.

If you need to know anything else that I forgot to mention, please let me know.

Buffer size can be set in ProTools using the Setup>Playback Engine menu entry. Is that what you are asking?
