Dear Users,
Product Manager 1.1.7 is now available through auto-update.
CHANGES
General
- The Mac application icon has been updated to macOS Tahoe style.
End-User License Agreement
- An EULA screen will now be shown after the self-update check if the EULA has not been accepted in PM yet or if the EULA has been updated since it was last accepted.
- Links to the EULA and Terms and Conditions have been added to the About dialog.
- The content/expansion installers (Toontrack Installer and SDX Sound Installer) will no longer show an EULA when they are launched by PM. (If they do, it means that PM must have failed to download the newest installer programs – in the background after login – perhaps because of an antivirus program, your internet provider or wrong permissions somewhere. Contact support for help to solve such issues.)
BUG FIXES
General
- On Intel Macs, a standard Window menu was missing.
- On Apple silicon Macs, the Window menu is now to the left of the Help menu, as it should be.
- On Windows, the smallest versions of the application icon did not look as intended around the corners.
- On Windows, pressing Return/Enter in the email text field on the forgot-password page would cause a crash.
- Failing to launch an installer would make all install buttons disabled until the application window was deactivated and activated again.
Settings
- Opening the settings window while the welcome screen was shown and then setting the computer description on the welcome screen would not update the computer description in the settings window.
- On macOS Sequoia and Tahoe, the button in Settings to open settings for proxies would not work, unless the System Settings application was already running.
Register Product
- Registering a product for which you already have a locally expired trial should no longer cause a crash.
- After registering a Superior Drummer 3 serial number so that Superior Drummer 3 Library also was added to the account, the “Show Registered Products” button did not show parts 2-5 of the library.
- “Show Registered Products” where an extra product has no serial (such as the EZkeys 1 MIDI) would show the first product on the account without a serial, which could be a different product.
Details
- In the Details view for downloaded but not installed MIDI packs, the Install button would incorrectly be disabled if the full download was also an update (with version higher than 1.0.0).
- MIDI updates for not installed SDXs where the full download does not contain the MIDI are now shown as recommended downloads (but they will still not be recommended for installation before the SDX has been installed).
- Adding an SDX path would make the SDX seem authorized even if it wasn’t.
Trials
- Whether a product is a trial or not would not be updated by refreshing the product list – logging in again was required.
- Registering a product that exists as a trial version now immediately removes it from the Free Trials view (and refreshing when a product has been unregistered immediately removes it from the views that should only contain registered products).
- Logging out with the Free Trials filter active and logging back in, product line headers would incorrectly become visible in Free Trials.
