Hi guys, I have some problem with my I/O trigger from alesis. At least I think this is causing the prob.
I purchased the EZ drummer software together with the DFH add on pack and got it in yesterday. Well I installed both progs on my computer. ( 1 gb ram, 2 ghz proc. and running xp) After installation and all that you have to do after this I also updated both progs from the site of toontrack. Then I started to play with the program. Well my problem is that I use a Alesis I/O trigger and have a e-kit wired to it. I use MILLENIUM PD MESH HEADS triggers/shells. When I hit my mesh head there is a small delay between the hit and the sound. When playing slow this is not that irritating and you barelly notice it but when I play fast dubble bass and blast beats this delay is extreemly frustrating. I have tried to find out how to fix this but I don´t know how. Is there someone who can please help me with this.
cheers niek
This type of delay is called latency. It is based on the buffer size of your audio sound card. What type of audio sound card are you using? What buffer size are you running on your sound card?

Hi Scott,
Well I just figured it out! Damn I must have been able to have won the award for dumbass of the year. I started to read the manual ones more and step by step did what they wrote. When I came to the part where it went about the soundcard settings etc I noticed that The setting was wrong. Instead of using the AIO4ALL driver it was using the standard audio controller with driver. SO it was all wrong. And when I took care of the settings all was perfect but still thanx for the reply
cheers niek
