We already have plenty of metal EZXs and SDXs, but I feel they are mostly oriented to modern metal, thrash metal and black metal (and that’s great).
However, I’m missing a expansion solely oriented to european power metal & symphonic metal. The closest we have now in my opinion are Metal Machinery and Progressive Foundry, which are great, but still feel like not quite aimed to this subgenre. I would really appreciate a expansion inspired by bands like Helloween, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Rhapsody, Blind Guardian, Dragonforce… you know. Maybe you can achieve this kind of sound with Death & Darkness SDX, but the stock presets are definitely not oriented to power metal.
I know we can get decent power metal sounds with the current available expansions by tweaking and making our own presets, but a brand new expansion dedicated to power metal would be a nice gift for us power metal fans.
I hope I’m not alone in this request… anyone?
