Curious for anyone who uses ezdrummer or superior drummer, whether you just add the plug to a stereo track or if you send each drum channel inside the plug to its own channel in your DAW.

I use EZ Drummer 2 mostly for Songwriting. Normally I put that on an Aux Track in Pro Tools. But I also have a setup where I make up a whole bunch of Midi Tracks which are routed to the EZ Drummer or Superior Drummer. That’s because sometime I want to separate some Beats which isn’t very convenient in EZ Drummer2.
For Superior I normally put it also on an Instrument Track but all Outs are routed to it’s own channel in Pro Tools. Nowadays I don’t do that anymore. When I am satisfied with my Midifiles and how it sounds with my Superior Kit I bounce it all out and reimport it. Saves a lot more CPU Power for Mixing but of course it eats up a lot of Harddrivespace.

EachHit describes my typical use as well.
