I just purchased ezx metalheads, i have seen and heard people on youtube creating their own drum recordings with this program, but i cant seem to figure out how to, i open up ezx metalheads and there are no grooves, just 6-7 meshuggah song drum grooves…im never gonna need those, im trying to make my own music with complex drum patters, i have an interface, and a midi controller…i cant seem to figure out how to make my OWN drums with EZ drummer.
2nd question. I know ezdrummer has a preset midi map…but how do i get it to work with MY midi controller. i’ve searched for months, looking for a tutorial on how to map my ezdrummer midi sounds, and also tutorials on how to create drums period…but NO ONE TELLS YOU HOW, THEY ARE ALL A BUNCH OF VIDEOS BASICALLY SAYING “hey check out what i made with metalheads”
and to be truthful i dont care what other people have made, i want to learn how to make MY OWN drums for my own recorded songs.
i’ve been trying to figure this out since before metalheads came out, im still stuck, its been about a year and a half, no production, nothing. im sick of having the right tools but not knowing how to use them, and not being able to go to toontrack to troubleshoot those questions.
it should be called harddrummer. cuz nothing about it seems easy.
