Hi CHRIS !

Your track sounds good to me. I felt a 80’s vibe in the middle/end. Maybe could your lead guitar part (during drums break) could be more present ? But maybe you wanted it like that ?

Do you listen to Cardiacs (just a curiosity) ? Have a good winter !

Thank you for listening and commenting!  I appreciate it!  I’m not saying it can’t be better, though I was pleased with how the lead guitars turned out on the song.  Unless it is purely a volume issue.  It seems everyone’s ears and sound system are a bit different.  I am not familiar with the Cardiacs, as far as I remember.  If you have any songs you want me to check out, leave me a link.

OK, I am replying in my own thread since I did not see a recent thread from you.  So the song name is in regard to the Ben Folds Five guy? Nice keyboard/piano playing in your song; that’s what stands out for me.  The drums are good too.  Nice audio quality.  Happy New Year!

I should have created my own topic. On the other hand, you have more replies with yours. Thanks for listening and commenting ! I asked you about Cardiacs because I find some of your intonations are similar to Tim Smith ones (just a feel).
