Midi Out in Reaper?

Hi, I was wondering if someone managed to use midi-out properly in Reaper. Latest version: 1.1.1 I have enabled midi-out, light is flashing when I preview a chord, so it seems to work fine I have created a new track with a vst (I have tried fm8 for example) and created a send from ezkeys to the vst.
