Midi Mapping total Confusion

I gotta be honest here.. I really don’t understand the logic  of the “Midi Mapping Keys ” in the Drum Panel..

#1. there’s no option to clear all keys with shift select all pads.. only the pad selected..

in SD2 it was more clear and simple.. and you could do that no problem.

and where the option to select all pads with the cmd key pressed? like in sd2 ?

#2.  If I clear all the keys in the Main Windows meaning (drums pad view)

why the midi keys in the “Midi In/E-Drum Settings” does not changes? and viceversa?

do the Act as different Midi Keys ? .. I don’t get it..

#3. How Can I clear all the midi keys in the Main Windows  (drums pad view)?

do I have to select one pad then clear all the keys.. and  then the other and repeat the process ? with all pads.. ? because there’s no option to select all pads and clear all keys..?

#4. so .. what is the connection between the Main Windows  (drums pad view) midi keys and the  “Midi In/E-Drum Settings” midi keys?

which one  should I change ? one or the other?….

#5. if “Midi In/E-Drum Settings” supposedly act for all libraries midi keys.. ?  why of I change from One library to other.. the keys changes?…

I don’t get it at all guys.

and #6. if I’m in the “Midi In/E-Drum Settings” and I click clear all keys.. in the main window.. the midi keys still active..

and for example if there’s no midi keys in the snare in the “main window.. (main window meaning where the windows with the photos of the room and the drums” and I’m in the “Midi In/E-Drum Settings” there no snare to MAP there? why?.. so I have to go.. to the main window.. map the key of the snare and then go to the.. “Midi In/E-Drum Settings” and map the midi keys there????????.. what?

 

#7. why there’s no option to save presets in the main windows midi keys ?…..
