MIDI dragged from Grooves tab has no relation to key in Song track

I set the key to C Major in song track. I find a groove I like. I drag it to the Song track. From the chord blocks the progression appears to be in Eb. Huh? I have deselected play grooves I original key to audition grooves in my song key. Anyone know what’s going on? Thanks.

Ballads/Modern Power 67 BPM. Where do I find the metadata? Searching the online manual shows no results. Also, had the same problem in the Country Pop midi collection.

This reported, and TT acknowledged, issue traces back 10 years, and is still not fixed. I waded into the round-and-round-and-round-and-round discussion/debate 3 years ago in this very topic. Respectfully, please TT, stop mentioning an “update.” Demonstrably is no update. We’re on our own, like being marooned on a forgotten planet.

Released today fixing far greater issues without workarounds (this one at least has a very simple workaround).

I think ToonTrack has their priorities straight.
