Midi Controller Not Triggering When Midi Out Is Active

I am using MIDI OUT function of EZDrummer3 to trigger my MFDS as per this article:

Everything works great except one thing.

When I click the drums on EZdrummer MFDS plays. When I play grooves in EZdrummer MFDS still plays back. The problem is only when I try to trigger the drum samples by a midi controller, a pad controller or a virtual keyboard. I see that the cymbals are moving and I see that the track and EZdrummer is receiving the midi input but it is not triggering MFDS.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
