Microphone list and recording chain?

Hi,

Can we find the list of microphones and recording chains used for the drum kits and cymbals available in EZdrummer 2?

I have tried to find this information on the forum and in the manual, but without success.

I take it you work for Toontrack? Could you ask them?

There is certainly a list of microphones that have been used, although this has yet to be released.

This would be very useful information for me and other users.

I can only surmise that Toontrack and Chuck Ainlay wish to keep the info to themselves as the info hasn’t been released by Toontrack in the past 7 years since EZD2 was released.

I recommend that you contact Toontrack directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below and ask them privately, as they may or may not want the info released.

This is very surprising.

The great thing about EZdrummer is also that you can even know the exact name and model of the cymbals you are using.

It would be very disappointing if they wanted to keep the microphone information to themselves.

However, this information is available on the Toontrack website for Superior Drummer 3.

I’ve contacted support about this but haven’t heard back yet.
