Hello,

Has anyone had this issue? I will start a project in Logic with SD3. No other instruments, audio, etc. even with ONLY SD3. Sometimes it just crashes. Other times, I have been able to create my drum part or get started. However, when I go to open the project again, it will not open. I receive the following message:

“Logic Pro X quit unexpectedly while using the Superior Drummer 3 plug-in.”

…and I cannot open the project, period.

I just installed SD3 for the first time this past weekend. I used it on a couple projects. They are, thus far, stable. However, for the past few days, I have had this problem with everything I try to do with SD3.

Anyone have any tips?

I’m having the same issue in both Logic and Ableton. I made a song for a client using SD3 in logic, when I went to reopen the project at a later date the project file would not open and I had to stop working on that song and apologize to the client and tell him he had to leave because the project wouldn’t reopen and we will have to reschedule.

 

I switched to ableton thinking logic was the issue but now I’m having the same issue on a different project using SD3 in ableton. It’s killing me because after spending hundreds on the drum software and multiple hours of my time working on my songs I can’t continue to work because of this error. Please help!!

Hi,

is it possible for you to zip a Project file and/or an Ableton/Logic file which causes problems and attach to a post here?

You do no need to include any Audio Files/Folders.
