Hi!

I have huge lag/latency issues when using EZdrummer on my DAW Garageband, I can’t use the tap to find at all because of latency and Garageband lags as soon as I open up EZdrummer 2.

As a stand alone it works perfectly.

Anyone here having a fix for my issues with EZdrummer?

Ive been searching for a fix on this forum and the fixes that worked for other have not work for me, like changing the color of the display.

Specs: iMac 27 Late 2015, i7, 32gb RAM, 256 gb ssd. AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4gb,

Operating system: macOS Mojave (10.14)

I have tried that already, i saw that solution on the forum before i wrote here.

Hi ArmTal,

I have it now confirmed from the programmer that there is nothing on the Toontrack end that can be changed to improve this since all instruments, including Apple’s free AUSampler, seem to have the same delay after startup

It does get better after hitting Play/Rec+stop, though.

some latency between video-sound when I hit a pad with EZD2

with the 2.1.8 version which  is better than the last one except for that

can you change that ?

I have the exact same issue and this didn’t work for me either. I never found something that helped. It’s been years and no solution has been provided by Toontrack. I’m starting to seriously consider ditching EZdrummer and use another software…

but the best thing to do is to install the last update for ez drummer 2 +

the last update for the computer
