keyboard sustain pedal drum trigger

Does anyone have any ideas of what would be the best way to make this keyboard sustain pedal into a drum trigger.

I’ve seen pedals that are changed from switches to piezo triggers, so they work in a drum module. I just want to know how they do this.

I have that exact pedal (use it with my M-audio ProKeys88) and have used it with my Korg PadKontrol. Unfortunately, it isn’t velocity sensitive so I only ever got ‘127’ velocity hits. I’ve since moved on…

Thanks mate, I just want a way to change the ‘electronics’ from switch to piezo, I have seen it with this pedal but I just want to know how they do it. Do they do it buy attaching a piezo or another way. Something to do with the wiring or an adaptor or something? Cheers
