Keyboard Shortcuts (mac0) for running the EZ drummer player/editor?

I am building a track in EZ Drummer 2 but am having trouble using the player e.g. I want to click the player head in any area and start from there. However, it keeps playing back from where it last stopped. If I hit return it does go back to the top of the track and then plays but I want to place play head where ever I want and play back from there. What are the basic keyboard shortcuts for running the player/editor? Also, seems I can only delete loops but right clicking > remove the keyboard delete button does not work and why can’t you use the common shortcut control Z to undo? You literally have to grab the mouse and click undo in the player. Really bites when I just want to use keyboard short cuts for most the editing not always grab the mouse. Any info on this would be extremely helpful!. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

keyboard shortcuts are generally captured by host software, so there are no shortcuts in the standalone that will not work with the plugin.
Space bar will start/stop the transport, Cmd+T will turn toggle the Metronome, Values in the mixer will work with standard Cmd+C/Cmd+V.

I think the lack of kybd shortcuts or lack of kybd control is a commonality among plug-ins in general.
As having only just released EZDrummer2 as a standalone application, I can understand Toontracks’s dilemma; users would use kybd shortcuts in the standalone and subsequently get confused (read: frustrated) when those same shortcuts don’t work in the plug-in or do something surprising in their host application.

Are you using EZdrummer 2 in a DAW?
