I had a little trouble with my install because it didn’t unzip everything but that is resolved. I also have EZKeys but have not installed it yet. Today I have time to get some things done but I would like to have my audio and midi on my D drive. I know I need to have my VSTs in their proper folder on C drive and so far they are. When I installed EZD I went with the defaults on the page that asked but now I wonder if I will be able to move the two kits (vintage and modern IIRC) to D drive or will I need to un-install and do it over. The page I am referring to in the install is this: http://www.toontrack.com/app/uploads/faq/installing-ezdrummer-2-pc/JPG/5-sound-path-300×226.jpg
I’m sorry, I don’t know how to paste a link to the picture here.
I opened the standalone and could not find a way to move sounds that show up in the browser. I also searched the forum and read the manual but I don’t see the way.
I don’t want to install anymore packs until I’m certain that I don’t need to re-install.
Thanks for your patience, I realize I am a dummy about this.. but am trying to get it right.
I am using Sonar Platinum Producer and a Studiocat DAW. I’ll try to put my info in my sig.

Never mind. I added a question but then when I looked at it I saw the answer… sorry and thanks!
Anyone?? I have EZDrummer, EZMix, and finally EZKeys installed but when I try to install a midi pack the only option I get is C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesToontrackEZkeys.
I added another folder on my Samples drive to the browser but I cannot figure out how to get the midi files there instead of on my C drive..
I know this refers to EZkeys but it is just the first midi I tried to install, I have EZdrummer packs and midi to install and I figure they will al be the same. They are all (hopefully) going on my Samples drive.. If not then I’ll be done with the EZ line.. I need some help.
Lost… thanks,
Julien
OK… I think I “get it”. I install everything to the folder I mentioned then I drag/drop it to my samples drive. That begs one more question.. do I have to do this with any new midi or pack that I might buy? DL and install it to the above mentioned folder then move it again? How will that work? Will the folders merge when/if I move another folder of the same name from C to E drive?
Thanks,
This is harder than it has to be but it is that way with a lot of other stuff too. I am learning though.

Well, it’s been nice talking to myself. I will check back.
I am assuming that everything will be fine if I move the whole folder to the one I created on my samples drive. I already added it to EZkeys. I’ll add it to EZD2 but if I understand correctly, I will not be able to move the packs that I have for EZmix. I assume this because the folder looks like the folder for EZdrummer 1 which, from what I read will not work if I mice the folder. It isn’t that big anyway, but if I can move the packs for EZmix, someone please let me know. I do not want to use junction points because I don’t really understand the process and don’t want to mess with the registry unless I need to.
Thanks,
J
What question(s) do you have that remain unanswered?
If it’s still about moving your already installed EZDrummer libraries, please refer to this Toontrack FAQ:

I read this and thought you meant never mind and that you found an answer.
Anyway, Toontrack MIDI libraries will install to the Sound Library location (to a MIDI folder). If you chose the default location during installation, that is where all EZX and MIDI libraries will install. See gseshleman’s post above for moving and resetting the Sound folder path in EZD2.
Ezmix packs are very small and don’t take up much drive space. I have every pack and they take up 24MB of space.
