How to launch EZDrummer in Logic?

I have downloaded EZDrummer Lite and want to launch it in Logic 8. I am completely new to using plugins and have no idea where to start. The EZDrummer manual is no help. Advice appreciated.

OK,

try rescanning the plugins in the AU Manager. You find it in the Logic Menu under ‘Preferences’.

OK, done that. It says scanned successfully but the only Audio Units that come up in the Channel Insert are Apple ones.

Ah, never mind. I figured it out now. I didn’t have a software instrument open. :/
