Help getting a snare sound

I use Superior Drummer and I’d really like to get a snare sound like Soulfly has on their first (s/t) album. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I’ve tried different snare drums and EQ’ing but I can’t get it.

I have installed NY Avatar, Metal Foundry, DFH, and Latin Percussion.

Soulfly kicks ass!! Have you tried blending snares (Adding multiple snares)?

Yeah I tried that. I should experiment some more with that.

Unfortunately Soulfly lost the sound that made them unique on the first album 🙁
