Having issues with Updated Sound Library on Monterey

Finally got a new laptop that I’m hoping is enough of a beast to make recording/playing with SD3 a breeze. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to get SD3 to play well with Logic Pro. I’m using an external HD for all of my installs, but am still getting a message that “The sound library SL-Superior Drummer 3 needs to be updated. Please use the Toontrack Product Manager to update.” I’ve updated multiple times, all libraries (basic sound library/room mics/surround setup/height surround/additional bleed) are all showing as installed and ready to use in the Product Manager, and still getting this message. Anything else I can try to make sure that it’s right as rain?

Where are you seeing the message – from within Logic? What happens if you open SD3 in standalone mode? If that works then your install is okay.

Message is coming from using SD3 as a plug-in inside of Logic as well as in standalone mode.

Not good. When you did the install did you let the installer put SD3 itself in your Applications folder on your system drive and the libraries on your external drive? OSX can be finicky that way. When I did my install I did exactly that – SD3 on my system drive and the library on a separate internal ssd on a pcie card adapter next to the video card in my 2012 MacPro all managed by the Product Manager.

Looks like everything is installed on the same external drive. Hmm.

Not good. The program itself has to be on your system drive in the OSX Applications folder. Easy to do in the Product Manager.
