Groove question

hey guys…..i apologize for such a silly question and I am sure the answer is super easy and I am overlooking it but I am stuck……a couple of nights ago I jammed a riff on the guitar and didn’t want to forget it….so i opened up SD2 and picked a groove real quick that worked for the riff.

i liked everything enough that I am ready to work on making it a song…..BUT, i’m having trouble backtracking and understanding which groove i picked. I have tried to logically look at the midi info in my DAW to backtrack but it’s not working.

The file is; C_S4_HOVh_VO3

and for the life of me I can’t figure it out…..any and all help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance!

Would you tell me how you figured it out – I’m in the same position.

There’s a sense to the names of the grooves but sometimes it is not easy to figure out.
For example I have this groove: EVR_R_GO2b_HC.
It stands for: E: EZX pack. If it was just “VR” it would mean it came from the MIDI pack, and if it began with S it would mean it’s a Superior Drummer file.
VR: Vintage Rock
R: Rock (note it doesn’t seem to matter that this is from the “Standard Tempo – Rock – Glitter” category). Sometimes these have numbers which indicate the order in the pack by tempo.
G02b: Groove 2. (Why b? I don’t know) If it’s a Variation it will say V.
HC: Hats closed.

To apply what’s above – C_S4_HOVh_VO3 looks like it’s from The Classic (?), 4th set of grooves by tempo, something named “HOV”, variation 3.
