Getting Dance/Club Beat depth

Hi,
I am on a newer iMac and am using SD 3.0.
I am wanting a deeper, more powerful dance groove than I am currently getting.

I am using SD 3 Grooves (with ‘Dance Fever Night beat -or- Dancing Queen Beat) and I am using the ‘Cabin’ drum sound.

I like what I have but would prefer more depth and power – I have listened to some of the toon track tutorials and so I am using 1176 Compression in my overall mix.

I just know there’s more out there than I am currently getting- I just don’t know how to ‘do it’ yet.
