I gone through the forums and I know i can be done. so I have been reading. but Im a little uneasy about to perform this task. so I ask humbly for some guidance. as I don’t want to screw this up (as my name might as well be Murphy (sorry Murphy’s) most importantly i don’t want to ruin/waste my authorizations as the same computer needed to be reauthorized LOL! lil back ground.. I have purchased superior drummer and the upgrade for it superior 2 a long time ago… I was using PC now that computer is long in the the tooth and decided to go mac. so, currently I just bought the mac mini. and would like to use my toontrack products on this new OS osx10.9.2 as you may know the mini has no optical drive. and I could buy one. I aslo do have the original disks (need to dig them out) . can I move/copy the sample files from the pc usb drive? unless the sample files are a different format. is this the case? if it is, then should i instead copy the correct mac files from my pc and move them to a usb drive and then to the mac and install. after that install all the updates I downloaded from my toontracks account/download area. one more question should I buy an external drive and just leave the samples there. all my sample libraries were interal drives before. just a looking for some reassurance and a little guidance. as I already weary form installing all the other software that this in tails. and some other software to follow which is also confusing. as you probably can tell I’m tired and I hope i was coherent on the matter. i did read the support portal faqs , did some forum searches which provided me with some good info but as I said still lil confused and unsure. i hope I’m not totally breaking protocol and I hope this is posted in the correct place as I figured pre sales wasn’t the correct forum. please don’t beat me. not really a noob just noob to macs and looking to save time and aggravation i really contemplating not moving my vsti to the mac platform and just using smpte / mtc to lock the two computers together. just trying to decision doesn’t come easy for me nowadays. any advise is welcome gee I hope that not too many questions or to convoluted thanks in advance, Michael Hennessey
