EZDrummer 3 – Mixer options like ‘Toms Sustain’ in any patch we like?

In EZ Drummer 2, the standard Modern kit lacks a ‘Toms Sustain’ control in many of the factory patches, making the toms difficult to use in some songs.

I found that I REALLY wanted to have control over the Toms Sustain in at least the ‘Original Mix’ patch, and managed to modify the kit’s configuration file, adding my own ‘Factory Patch’, (identical to the ‘Original Mix’ patch) but with the ‘Toms Sustain’ control visible and working in the Mixer ‘rotary control area’.

I would like to know if TOONTRACK will let us have easy access to parameters like ‘Toms Sustain’ in ANY kit and patch in EZDrummer 3, and if not, WHY ?

I think this would be an excellent addition to EZ Drummer 3, and it wouldn’t cost TOONTRACK anything at all, so PLEASE add this nice feature immediately!

Toms Sustain is a good option

what you can try is no reverb, no amb, dry preset, a higher pitch

for me the best is in some EZX expansions like UK Pop EZX/ Americana EZX with the towel presets

or some other preset with towel

i suppose you want no sustain ?

Sorry, but No. I’m not looking for a different sounding preset at all.

What I’m asking for is Toontrack letting us have access to the different optional ‘rotary control area’ mixer stuff in ANY patch.

It’s ‘already there’, but with fixed/hidden controls, depending on which preset patch you select, unnecessarily limiting our user experience.
