Listening to all the presets here

omg Toontrack is the best 🙂

Considering now I have a great pop rock sound ! So raw and natural and extras for disco funk

and metal ? I will see that later

but maybe not for the 80’s (gated reverb like EZD2)

How do you change the default location to install EZ3 Lib?

But don’t move the EZDrummer 3 Percussion library. I tried that and EZD3 kept crashing on  launch.

Damn it! I bought EZdrummer 2 less than 2 weeks ago. If I had known that EZdrummer 3 was landing in May I would have held off buying v2 so I can get the free upgrade to v3. From what I can see, there’s no grace period.

I’m pretty sure you get the upgrade for free if you just bought EZD2.

I installed EZD 3 – super fast download BTW and installed successfully. Updated all other items.

However, when I go to open EZD3 in Logic Pro, it just gives me and show EZD2, not 3.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Should I uninstall EZD2? Please advise.

    Thanks.

Do I need to keep EZD-2 installed after updating to ED3?

    thanks, Chris

Do I need to keep EZD-2 installed after updating to ED3?

I’d say yes – the main library is used in EZD3, the plugin itself is still needed for opening legacy projects.

These grooves seem totally superior to anything I’ve used with toontrack (including SD3)

Instead of wishing they were different or having to do many alterations, they seem to be far more “in the pocket” and natural. But it’s early still of course.

I also wanted to echo how painless the download and install/auth was.

One real disappointment, unless there is some setting I’m missing there is no scrolwheel for that much  wider mixer. Having to mouse it over is kinda annoying. Maybe I’m missing something?

    I have a question!

If I want to multi out and want to bring every Mixer channel to my DAW, there are not enough OUT Channels in Ez Drummer. It ends wit Out 31/32! Or am I doing something wrong?

So far I found many usable presets in the core library. These drums are well recorded. Good job Toontrack!

    it works

I hope it will stay like that

there are tons of presets and the sound is incredible !! So natural – raw

the design is perfect like SD3 as its little brother

it’s really fantastic and there are so many options

A big “hey y’all” from Alabama again.  All I can say is after 20 minutes of clicking and padding my way around (in the standalone, haven’t fired it up in Reaper yet, but that’s next)……

I’ll wait 8-9 hours for the next one too, and not say a single damn word.  EXCELLENT job, as usual.

Actually, while I’m here, I bought the Progressive pack last year and haven’t used it once.  I use the setup because you can get 37 cymbals in there, and the drum sounds are barely “meh”… Certainly not good. The kicks are useable if you EQ the snot out of them.   Where I feel like I set $89 on fire is the reason I bought it to begin with: The cymbals.  Muffled hot garbage… They all sound like they have pillows thrown on top of them.  Anyone else got this pack?  Anyone else think the cymbals are… Just awful?  That said, the MIDI pack is sheer brilliance. A bit limited, but man, I got into Karnivool a little after I bought it.

Anyone interested in a trade? If that’s even a thing, and now that I’ve given you something to put under the microscope, I’m sure you’re intrigued. Eeeeeeeenyway…

    EZD3.  Frickin’ spectacular.
