Wow ! it was a pre-order ok :)but some presets sound so good !
The snares sound real-raw more than EZD2 could do
it seems the best is for pop and rock : it sounds like a real drummer in a studio
but, I am very curious to listen to the presets to see if they are up to ezd2 especially the disco pop preset, the big 80’s sound etc.
we can keep EZD2 so cool
but I think some EZX are useless now

YEEEEEEEEEEEES
I LIKE IT
I WANT IT !!!
But if I understand correctly I can still use EZ drummer 2 after I buy EZ drummer 3?
Because that would be perfect for me.
what they say
Q: What happens to my previous version of EZdrummer?
A: EZdrummer 3 does not overwrite any earlier version you may have installed.
Q: What happens to the projects in which I have used an earlier version of EZdrummer?
A: EZdrummer 3 does not overwrite any earlier version. As long as you don’t uninstall your previous version, your old projects remain intact.
there will never be an update again with ezd2
but, ezd3 does not overwrite the other

Do we have a minimum requirements definition yet for EZD3? I’m currently running a MacPro 5,1 on Mojave, 48GB RAM…. will it work on that setup or do I need to upgrade my OS?

I own EZDrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3. Is there a comparison chart of features so I can make an intelligent decision on upgrading to EZDrummer 3?
Do I really need EZDrummer 3 if I own Superior Drummer 3?
I don’t get it…ez drummer 3. Ow looks like Toontrack’s flagship software?
Theres a lot of features that I would love to see in superior drummer 3. So maybe a superior drummer 3.5?
im confused.
I dunno, I find Superior Drummer to be option-paralysis in many ways, again, maybe this will be the one. I’ll mull it over, no need to give them an interest-free loan
What I didn’t see on the site was what are ALL of the kit pieces and so on. As far as other EZX’s being obsolete, I don’t understand. Isn’t part of EZ3 to round robin and transform them into the new world-order as well? Hopefully we’ll get some clarity.
Is the EZdrummer 3 sound library extracted from The Rooms of Hansa SDX? Having SD3, might be worth the cat for the EZ3 sound library, but if you already own The Rooms of Hansa SDX (as I do) it makes almost no sense to upgrade, I think.
Superior Drummer 3 + EZdrummer 3 + 21 SDX & 51 EZX | EZkeys 2 | EZmix 3 | Roland TD-27KV
Cubase Pro 14 | WaveLab Pro 12 | Dorico Pro 4 | SpectraLayers Pro 11
Windows 10 Education x64 | i7-8700K | 32gb RAM DDR4 3000MHz | MSI Z370 PC Pro | Steinberg UR-RT2
Damn it! I bought EZdrummer 2 less than 2 weeks ago. If I had known that EZdrummer 3 was landing in May I would have held off buying v2 so I can get the free upgrade to v3. From what I can see, there’s no grace period.
