    Hi,

yes, you’re triggering the ‘Future’ hit on the EZdrummer 2 Tambourine. If you hit it slightly softer, you will trigger another articulation.
The EZdrummer 2 percussion pads are not your regular percussion instruments; they’re specially tailored for EZdrummer 2 and has got a complex setup of velocity split articulations in conjunction with MIDI that takes into account the future hits. If you need to program percussion the “normal” way, i.e. without EZdrummer 2 adding them for you, I’d say the Latin Percussion EZX is more for you. Or if you need single hits, there are other EZXs, like the Claustrophobic, Indie Folk, Pop!, etc. thas has got them.

    Wow already reported in 2014,

still an issue here with Pro Tools 2022.12 and EZ Drummer 2,

does not make any sense for my work, where is the standard tambourine hit?

Tambourine hits currently unusable for me.

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Goetz

    Hello Scott,

thank you for your quick answer, I found the same way out by myself yesterday evening.

For all users, who wanted to trigger a standard Tambourine in EZ Drummer, make sure to trigger the Tambourine note with a velocity! between 0 and 20,

this way you will archive the direct tambourine hit.

A bit bit hard to play / record, I choose to record my tambourine groove with a Hihat,

transpose it to the Tambourine note and reduce the velocity to max 20 afterwards.

    Thanks again,

    kind regards,

    Goetz
