So I did a fresh install of Big Sur yesterday. Been installing all plugins today and came to EZDrummer. Everything went smooth until EZX pack “In the Pocket”.
As you can see from screenshots, “Kicks & Snares” was installed fine even though the installation error occurred.
When I installed the “main” EZD2, I set the “core” sounds to an external drive.
I understand the main issue should be to upgrade “EZD2 to 10.9 or above…” but since I’m getting the error it’s a bit frustrating.
Tried so far:
Removed all components, vst’s etc, documentation, whatever was named EZdrummer was uninstalled. Did a reboot and installed it again with the same issue.
Reinstalled product manager
Tried to download and install the upgrade and expansion pack both from Product manager (after reinstallation) and the website, issue still remains.
You missed the last argument, “/Users/Shared/Toontrack/Preferences/com.toontrack.ezdrummer2.plist”. All the red text in the box in my previous message should be copy/pasted, all at once.
I think the error in the first screenshot is caused by the sounds being located on an ExFAT-formatted drive. (It’s an installer issue that will be fixed in the next update of EZD2.) But that attempt at installing the update, did it not fix the In the Pocket issue anyway?
