It means you have the paid version (the VST at least) installed somehow. Remove that and the demo should open.

The installer DMG is EZdrummer2_Demo_MAC.dmg so i’m assuming it’s definitely the demo, and i’ve tried unticking as many of the options as possible apart from the greyed out ones it won’t let me change and still no luck
Sorry aha I’m not normally a noob at this sort of stuff :/

Yes that’s the demo but you apparently also have the non-demo on your computer since before. You can go to “Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST” and delete “EZdrummer.vst” from there.

I’ll uninstall everything, reboot everything tomorrow 🙂

To make sure you look in the right folder, open the “Go” menu in Finder and select “Go to Folder…” Then paste /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST into the text field and click Go. In the folder that opens you’ll see at least EZdrummerDemo.vst and EZdrummer.vst. Remove EZdrummer.vst. Then start the EZdrummer standalone.

After rebooting and doing what you suggested, it now works 🙂 Thank you!
