EZD3 Problems (with some EZX)

I’m having some trouble with EZX libraries in EZdrummer 3.

Crashes. With two of my libraries it gives an error and closes. I am attaching 2 DPM files with the error:

– Electronic
– The classic (no 4mic)

Seven of my libraries do not load the images of cymbals, drums… so you cannot edit or change the sounds. Although it does sound if I play a midi file:

– Claustrophobic
– Indie folk
– Indie folk 4mic
– Pop!
– Rock Solid
– The Blues
– The classic 4mic (only shows snare and floor tom images)

And finally, Number 1 Hits shows the image well, but the buttons do not react to the mouse (they do not sound when clicking the pads) nor can the instruments be changed. It’s like opening a jpg image. It sounds if I play a midi file.

Does the Toontrack Product Manager show any updates for those libraries? Have those updates been run?

We have very similar setups, and I have about 2/3rs of those libraries. Not a single issue here, everything looks and sounds great (also surprising – I was expecting updates for all the old EZXs, they haven’t come but clearly all the graphics are new)

Ironically the only issue I have is in EZD3’s own Bright Room, which says needs to be updated. It plays grooves but there are no drums visually, much like you have with those 7. It loads fine in SD3, however.

(Just as a matter of interest, SD3.3.0 is still showing all the old graphics except for EZD3).

So it is not a general problem. I will have to find a solution. If not I can still get them to work in SD3, at least that doesn’t give me any problems.

The only problem I have with the EZX Expansions in EZD3 is that the artist presets from EZD2 are missing and not available, in Claustrophobic & Electronic.

I have reinstalled all the EZX’s that were giving me problems and everything is fixed. Everything is ok now.

EZX Expansions in EZD3 no longer contain any of the EZD1 Mixer Presets from EZDrummer 1.
