Can you try to reinstall Metalheads to see if that solves the problem?

I’m using two Win7 64-bit machines, EZD 2.0.2 and Metalheads 1.5.0 as well as Reaper 4.731. I don’t have any issues. Are you getting any error messages?

    Hi! Thanks for your reply!

Henrik: i did try to reinstall Metalheads and that changed nothing

Scott: the only message i get is “EZdrummer Standalone (32-bit) a cessé de fonctionner (stopped to work)”

Additional question: How do i uninstall EZdrummer and Metalheads? I don’t find any uninstall option in the start menu > Toontrack
If i use CCleaner is it fine?

There are uninstallers included in the install zip file.

    Thanks!

But it doesn’t works: i uninstall everything, re-install and i still get the same crash.
I suspect that the uninstall doesn’t remove all files and some problematic ones remain scattered in the system.

So how can I do for a complete and clean uninstall?

Can you open the other kits ok (modern and vintage kits)? This crash only happens with Metalheads EZX?

What version of EZD 2 shows in the bottom right corner of the EZD interface?

I can change the kits inside the EZdrummer 2 modern but impossible to change to Ezdrummer 2 vintage or Metalheads EZX.
In the bottom right corner i’ve: VERSION 2.0.2 (64-BIT)

I have no idea why this would be happening. Since I have a similar system as you (Win7, Reaper) I would guess it has something with something specific to your system otherwise we would have others with similar issues.

I’ll ask the programmers for ideas on a solution.

I give a print screen of the event viewer, maybe it will give ideas.EZdrummer-2-crash.jpg

Do you have your EZXs in the default location, or on a external disk or similar?

Everything is installed with default location on 1 SSD.

Do you a dialog saying anything about a dump file created somewhere. If so, can you upload that file?

Hi, Sorry for the late answer.

Nop, no message about dump file…
So i redo a clean install of Win7 and now everything work perfectly.

    Thanks all for your help.
