Log into your Toontrack account online and click “My Products“.

Click on your EZDrummer2 icon and then click on “UPDATES”
Download and install the updates available for your product.

to access the updates for your EZX expansions not shown by default on the My Products page,
users may have to click on the “Show ALL EZDrummer Products”

You haven’t provided any of your system details or the exact details of the error presented to you,
so I’ll venture another solution suggested in another thread by another member of the forum.
Maybe one of these suggestions will help you…

Problem solved. Apparently you need to make sure that your system allows downloads from 3rd party host.
For that you need to go to System Preferences, Security and activate the anywhere button.
    Thanks for the help.

I have EZ drummer and EZdrummer 2 and my platform is Logic Pro x so it is already updated

Are you trying to open the Reggae EZX in EZD or EZD 2. It should only work in EZD 2 with version 2.0.2 installed.

I have updated EZ drummer 2 – I’m not sure whether that is 2.2 but says it is the latest version! still nothing

I really have no idea. I’ll have to ask the programmers. Please give as much info about your system as you can. OS, version number of Logic, etc.

You can see the version number in the bottom right corner of the interface. Check that it says 2.0.2

how are you running both EZDrummer and EZDrummer2 on the same MAC??
I suspect therein lies the heart of your issues…what MAC OS and MAC hardware are you using?

I have heard that has been troublesome for other (Windows) users and definitely not recommended,
but I’ve not seen this possible on MAC.

I suggest that you uninstall EZDrummer 1. EZDrummer 2 makes it obsolete anyway.

I can’t download it. It keeps saying that i need an upgrade?

I don’t need an upgrade can anyone suggest the remedy

    Same here!
I’m quite angry by now. Upgraded today EZDRUMMER 2. Still get the above Message.
System: Windows 7 Pro, Cubase (but that is definitely not involved) Is there a solution or do I have to return the product to the dealer for a refund?
Readme says to not execute the Installation from an “unzipping” program. Is that it?
Sadly, it#s not. Just tried and ended by the same message. Since I uploaded the update of EDrummer 2 today and get the Version 2.01 it can’t be true that 2.02 is reqired or it’s most definitely not on offer. Hmmmh!
Bottom of the page that is where 2.02 is hidden. Otherwise you’ll get the complete 2.00 Installation you already have.
    Please!
Hoping to get to know from you soon. Didn’t hear from you but I was on the right track after figuring out that “update” should not be as big as the original Installation file. I suggest to labeling the options so they cannot be confused with one another. My own faiult, though.

    Best regards

2.0.2 is the current version of EZDrummer2. The full product installer (v2.0.0) is over 3GB.

There are two (2) update files available for EZDrummer2: the software update (95MB) and the sound library update (45MB)

The updates are available by logging into your Toontrack account which you’ve obviously done.
It appears that you ‘found’ the updates but I’m not sure what you mean by “Bottom of the page that is where 2.02 is hidden

Please download the updates and extract/unzip them BEFORE attempting to run the updates.
That referenced in the ‘ReadMe’ that you’ve noted above.
Please refer to this Toontrack FAQ regarding Installation, Updates and Unzipping of downloads….
