Hi Everyone,
Sorry if it has been asked over and over but I wanted to know if anyone has been successful at Choking Cymbals on EZDrummer, using a Roland TD12?
Other problem I have is Solo not working with the e-drums. It works fine in my DAW (Studio One), everything triggers well, but when i launch Solo, it doesn’t seem to pick up the Midi signal. Does anyone else have experienced this?
thanks for your help!

EZdrummer is only supported for E-drum use with Toontrack solo and the ‘E-drums’ MIDI setting.
Have you checked the MIDI inputs (and Audio outputs) settings in Toontrack solo?
Which version of Toontrack solo are you running? Which version of EZdrummer?
Best Regards,
John

Hey John,
thanks for the quick reply.
I use Solo ver: 1.2.2. The Audio Output is set to my Presonus FireStudio, the midi device is the Mobile Midi (off the firestudio), controller is set to edrums and my TD-12 is obviously turned on and plugged Midi In in the Firestudio.
This set up works flawlessly in my DAW, i record guitars and then record drum tracks by playing the e-drums through EZDrummer… so i know it works, it just seems Solo does not pick up the midi signal.
Also, would you have a tip for the Cymbal Choke setup? do i have to change a midi note in the Roland TD-12 module?
Cheers,
Are you on Mac or PC?
Please take the time to fill in your system specifications in your profile and/or signature.
Cymbal chokes with your TD-12 are set up by:
1) selecting the Crash in question in S2
2) Enabling the Envelope (blue light in the corner of the box) and set it to Aftertouch and adjust the release time.
3) hit and pinch your Crash
Best Regards,
John
