Hey!
As it says in the title, i purchased, downloaded and installed but i get this error message. It also says below that i have the PlugIn version 3.0.5 and the version of resources is 3.0.4 and ends with “please reinstall EZDrummer 3”. I can’t find a solution on the internet. Any help would be very appreciated. It’s frustrating to deal with something i have no clue about since i just purchased it.
Kind regards!
Erik

Hey Brad! Thanks for the reply. I am doing so right now. Just to be clear of any confusion, and this may be a dumb question but where exactly do i download a fresh install package of EZDrummer 3 itself? The only option i see is in Product Manager itself. (Screenshot below)
I uninstalled EZDrummer via the uninstaller in Windows, but it still shows up as installed in My Products on my account at http://www.toontrack.com. In Product Manager it looks like this (see screenshot below).
Kind regards,
Erik

Hi there,
Did you use the “Clean Up” button in Product Manager? Your EZDrummer 3 Product should look like this;

DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)

Hi there, you need to use the Product Manager application on your PC. Not the web based one at https://www.toontrack.com.
If you haven’t downloaded and installed Product Manager on your PC, please do that first.

Hey Brad. Yes i did but it says “Install Product”, not “Download Product”. EZ Drummer is uninstalled on my PC and i hit the clean up button as you said.
I did everything using the Product Manager not the web based version to be clear.

The cleanup button should disappear after you click it. In your screen shot it indicates 16GB, which means your old downloads are still there.
Plan B…
In Product Manager go to Tools > Options, find the Download Location panel, make note of the location.
In File Explorer go to that location and remove everything from it.
Stop and restart Product Manager and see if “Download” is displayed.

Hey Brad. Tried exactly what you told me to do here. It still gives me the same error. This is very strange!
Is there any way to completely revert my installations? When i uninstall EZDrummer and delete the toontrack folder and all the components it still says that my EZXpansion and Core Library are installed, but not downloaded (In product manager). Since i’ve tried everything that was suggested in this thread i was wondering how to completely uninstall everything as if i had just purchased EZDrummer + the expansion and not touched it yet.

To uninstall the Core Library you need to download the full Core Library Installer from; Show Details > Downloads (tab) and then uninstall from the menu on the right.

Hey Erik,
I just haven’t been able to replicate the problem. I would suggest putting a ticket in with Toontrack Support;
https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-contact-support/
Reference this thread so they have an idea of what you have tried so far.
PS… just a thought, in Windows Explore; Local Disk C: and search for EZdrummer*
What shows up?

Hey Brad. I already opened a ticket with support. Below i attached what i get when i search for EZDrummer on my C: drive. Thanks man!
Hi,
I see that support replied to you on Friday. Please check your junk mail folder if you haven’t seen it.

Hey, i checked my inbox and my junk folders. I only receiver a confirmation that my ticket is being revied and may take a few days…
Erik
They have sent you another mail. If you can’t see that either, here is what it said:
Please go to C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZdrummer 3
and check what the file Aversion contains. Does it start with 3.0.4 or 3.0.5?
Then uninstall EZD3 using Add/Remove Programs.
After that, check if the C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZdrummer 3
folder still exists. If it does, delete it (the “EZdrummer 3” folder).
Then install EZD3 and check if it works.
NOTE: This solution is only for when the resources have a lower version than the software.

Thanked by: BradThanks Olof!
And yeah i am unable to receive an E-Mail from Support which is weird. Anyway, i will try and see if this method will work. Thanks for forwarding it to me!
Erik
So, i found the file Aversion but it doesn’t have 3.0.4 or 3.0.5 in front of it. It simply just says Aversion.
